If those Natural Gas fields leave Bolivian Rule, this will very much hurt the tax base and economic viability of the country.

Evo Morals needs that income to propel his projects and promises to the Bolivian People, as the Coca Leaf projects are not moving along fast enough and the previous play to nationalize mines and other foreign investments in large industrial businesses, has lessened the inflow of capital. Those foreign investment dollars do not wish to risk the money in a nation that does the unthinkable to free enterprise. The taking over of the Bechtel water filtration plant still haunts Morales and the Bolivian Government.

The question now is will Evo Morales use his small army and police force to fight those that are attempting to secede or declare independence, as they may have already made deals with the Brazilian Government to back them. Will Evo Morales call upon his friend from Hugo Chavez of Venezuela to take back those leaving territories and then help Bolivia re-nationalize those natural gas reserves.

Now the super rich citizens are declaring themselves independent too. There will be another show down, this will be a significant event in Bolivian History, as the world waits and watches.

Everyone knows that paying a contractor can be tricky. Some want the money up front, some want half, and then some want money for just the materials, so on and so on. This can be very confusing to a rehabber just starting out. So, where do you draw the line?

Basically, I take charge here. I let them know how I want things done. Usually, I like to set the contractors up on a draw system. What I mean by that is, it’s like you’re paying them in installments until the work is complete. I have found that this is the best way to pay my contractors.

The most important thing that you want to do first is to make sure everything is drawn up on a contract. All of the contracts that I am explaining are fully detailed and ready to go in my educational system, “Renovate Your Success” TM. You want to make sure everything is written on paper and signed.

The next important thing to remember when using a draw system is to keep track of what’s been paid and what’s owed. Personally, I find it better as a company to make sure payments to the contractors are handed out prior to them asking you for the money. It just makes better business relationships. Building a better relationship with your contractors, you will find, will only benefit you and your success in the long run. Contractors hate coming to you begging for their money.

Don’t forget, make sure the job is complete before making the final draw payment. This should be detailed in your contract. Make time and go to the actual job site and check off - one by one - what’s been done. If it’s not complete, don’t pay them until it is. Do NOT take their word for it. Don’t worry about hurting their feelings - it’s part of the job.
